Well I did it - I faced my fears - and it was scary - but I took it slow and I did it - I made a few adjustments a long the way - its still slightly to big - but that's alright - "growing room". The material is just trackie fleece I had lying around - the 2 diff colors was because there wasn't quiet enough of either to do it in the one colour. I omitted the pockets - still not sure why Tyler needs working pockets at his age, but if I add them they will be the same colour as the arms.

The other 2 pics are just ones I love of the boys! They were both taken today.

Joshies ninja library bag. He is in heaven. Looking a bit hardcore here to go with his bag.

Ok I'm terrified.
I cut it all out and now I'm scared. Its my first non pants/skirt sewing wearable - I got a pattern for an easy hoodie for Tyler, and I'm scared. I can do pants in my sleep. I've read the pattern and re read it - I understand the instructions but I'm to scared to dive in. I cant use the excuse that's its because I'm afraid of wrecking the material - its the same stuff that I got on sale in summer - so I could make trackies for the winter when it came - which I did so I know how it sews - its the unknown - hoodies and jumpers seem scary.

The days seem to be roaring by - and the project list and WIPS seem to be longer and longer.

I have things on the go very where and in almost evey medium. Will I ever be done.

Winter is here and the cold in most of my rooms deter me from entering them, school holidays next week so all my projects will mainly be child friendly. His favourite was the hols before last - wooden spoons buttons wool and glue - puppets for all of us to love.

The craft show was good - the quilts were amazing - esp the more arty ones - and all the beads and goodies - unfortunately I was more broke then I hoped so didn't come home with much - just a cotton spool holder and a couple of back issue bead mags. But I did come back with a million ideas! As always! But it was too nice to craft today (cant believe I just said that!) today called for relaxing in the back sun room and football with the boys - have to take advantage of the winter sun when I can!

The earrings were followed by more earrings and a bracelet, and more work on the doggie,a nd hitting the library for crafty book goodness - which was followed the next day by incredible sickness - I couldn't even sit up to hold my hook. All my big craft plans flew out the window while I layed down and silently tried to die. But thank goodness for Today the long weekend. No crafting got done but we sorted and cleaned out the shed - well Rod did anyway - and we recycled the old cot - which wasn't good enough to use for Tyler (which doesn't matter cause he doesn't us the one we have now - its much more cuddly with mum and dad) the sides are now FABRIC RACKS! It looks really good and I love it!

the big craft show is on in Sydney this coming weekend and I cant wait - I going alone and going to enjoy it. The only thing about these craft shows is I add a hundred new crafts to the long list of the ones I want to try!
I hoping to get a hairpin lace holder and see what other goodies catch my eye.

The plastic bag crochet bag - ugly but will do for the beach - I'm thinking for a decent one to use a graph with white bags and black garbage bags - a skull one.
A crochet pound puppy
A pair of Tylers pants
and there is a million things I have yet to start.
OH and people other then me have voted for my basket - Im so excited about that!!

Well I made the slice - I cheated and brought a cheap packet mix ( I have totally no waiting ability and things were going along swimmingly (though I had to use a round cake pan as I had no square) and then - Tyler wanted picking up during the caramel stirring - not good so I tried to see if he would be happy in the high chair near me but away from hot caramel - no deal - so a bit got burnt while trying to fix him and the rest was undercooked so its slightly sloppy. Still doesn't taste bad but not what I was hoping for. :(

Oh well back to the cookbook for something equally as sinful.

Craftster challenge - have really truly almost finished another hundred sequins or so and I'm done - not happy with my banana - though I did come up with a great Idea - I cut a banana shape out of Styrofoam box and spraypainted it - came back later to find that the spray pant had melted the FOAM - did not expect that. So I have a fugly Banana so I'm just going to hide it behind the fruit and leave it so just a hint is showing through ( the official excuse is that in Australia at the moment bananas are $10 a kg so its been so long since I could afford them I had forgotten what they look like.). I'm still happy with the rest - so it will be done and posted tomorrow!

Other crafts
Started a crochet puppy for Tyler
Need to hem and make the waist on Tylers pants - maybe add a applique on the bottom of one leg - a nice dino or truck or something.
need to buy green wool for a crocodile for Joshie
Need to book the jewelry making class for me and my SIL.

More breaded bliss - I love the smell. I sometimes wonder if the only reason I cook is for the smells that waft through my house - but it cant just be that , its also that divine first bite - when you bite in and then pure bliss.
Next on my list is caramel slice but that will have to wait until payday.
I am almost finished this bloomin craftster challenge - it took a lot more work then I though and my finger tips may never forgive me - but its all in the name of craft.
